From the supplier: Many corporations have wanted to use their trademarks as part of their Internet addresses which has created disputes over the rights to certain words. One notable case involved a writer who was able to register the name McDonald's before the fast food giant. Another case involved a pornographic address using the name Candyland, which is a Hasbro board game trademark. New policies to provide greater flexibility in naming domains are currently being devised.
